Alexa is a useful website which tells information about websites, especially about the traffic of the websites and how they are ranked on the internet. Putting an Alexa traffic rank gadget on your blog help show off your blog traffic rank and promote your blog ranking with Alexa as whenever a visitor clicks the gadget it will be counted as a visit. Here are simple steps to add an ALexa traffic rank gadget on your Blogger blog.
Step 1: Get Alexa Traffic Rank Widget code Visit Alexa widget webpage at: http://www.alexa.com/siteowners/widgets. Enter your blog address in the "Alexa Traffic Rank Button" tab and click "Build Widget" button to get the generated code.
Depend on your needs you can choose small button, regular button or banner. In my case I copy the code in the "regular button"
Step 2: Add Alexa Traffic Rank Widget to your blog
- Sign in to your Google Blog and go to the dashboard.
- Choose Design / Page Elements / Add a Gadget. In basic category, choose HTML-Javascript gadget.
- Paste the code generated by Alexa (in step 1 above) to the content. Add a "Alexa Ranking" title or something like that if you want. Press Save button.
- Now you have successfully added an Alexa traffic rank gadget to your Blog!
