When the number of your blog posts increase, visitors may find it difficult to locate the content that suits their interest. Here are simple steps helping you add a search box to your Google blog so that visitors can quickly and easily search your Blogger blog.
Step 1: Sign in to your blog Visit Google Blogspot home page at: http://blogspot.com/ or http://www.blogger.com/ and sign in with your Google account.
Step 2: Go to your chosen blog Dashboard
A Google account can have many blogs. When you sign in to your blog, you are presented with the main dashboard. You can click any link (NEW POSTs, Edit Posts, etc....) under your chosen blog title to go to the dashboard of your chosen blog.
Step 3: Add Google search gadget to your blog
- Choose Design / Page Elements / Add a Gadget. In basic category, choose Search box gadget.
- In the configuration page, you can enter your search box title, allow visitors to search the web, etc....
- Click Save to successfully add a search box gadget to your Blog!
