How to add image slide shows in your Blogger Blog with Picasa Web Albums

A image slide show is a display of a series of chosen pictures. Here are simple steps helping add image slide shows to your Blogger blog by using Google Picasa Web Albums.

Step 1: Sign in to your Google Picasa Web Albums

Visit Google Picasa Web Albums at: http://picasaweb.google.com/ and sign in with your Google account.

Step 2: Upload images

Click upload button.

You can choose to add images to a new album or an existing one.

Click Ok button to finish uploading your images. Now you have an album contains the images that will be displayed in a slide show.

Step 3: Copy the code for creating a slide show gadget
 If you are inside your album, click "Link to this album" link on the right sidebar. If you are in the home page of Picasa Web, click to choose your just modified album in step 2. Then click "Link to this album" link on the right sidebar.

Then click "Embed Slideshow" .

 In the new popup window, you can select the size of the slide show. Then copy the genereated HMTL code in the box below.

Step 4: Add Image slide show gadget to your blog

• Choose Design / Page Elements / Add a Gadget. In basic category, choose HTML-Javascript gadget.
• Paste the code copied in step 3 to the content. Add a "Slide show" title or something like that if you want. Press Save button.
• Now you have successfully added a picture slide show to your Blog!
