How to use Bing Webmaster Tools to submit your Blogger blog sitemap to Microsoft Search Engine

Adding your blog sitemap to Bing (Microsoft's Search engine) is a vital task as it greatly helps Microsoft search engine knows your blog's structure better and therefore you can get traffic to your blog from Bing. This article will describe how to submit your Blogger blog sitemap to Bing by using Bing Webmaster Tools.

Step 1: Login to your Bing Webmaster Tools
click here to go to the website. Sign In by using your Windows Live ID account.
Step 2: Go to your Blog dashboard
If you have not added your blog/website to Binge Webmaster Tools, click here to see how.

In the home page of Bing Webmaster Tools, click to choose your blog name under "SITES" tab.

Step 3: Submit your Blog sitemap to Bing
Click Crawl -> Sitemaps (XML, Atom, RSS) and then click the "Add Feed" button.

Add atom.xml?redirect=flase&max-results=100 or rss.xml?redirect=flase&max-results=100 at the end of your Blogger blog address as in the following format:
http://yourblogname.blogspotcom/atom.xml?redirect=flase&max-results=100 or
http://yourblogname.blogspotcom/rss.xml?redirect=flase&max-results=100


If your blog has more than 100 articles, then add an additional sitemap url
http://yourblogname.blogspotcom/atom.xml?redirect=false&start-index=101&max-results=100
If it has more than 200 posts, then add one more sitemap url
http://yourblogname.blogspotcom/atom.xml?redirect=false&start-index=201&max-results=100
If there are more than 300 posts in your blog, then add one more sitemap
http://yourblogname.blogspotcom/atom.xml?redirect=false&start-index=301&max-results=100
Your blog sitemap has been successfully submitted to Bing search engine!
